DISCOUNTED DAMAGED BOOKS & HOW TO GET AN AUTOGRAPHED COPY
If you are looking for a discounted book or would like to buy an autographed book in new, undamaged condition to give as a gift, read on.
DISCOUNTED DAMAGED BOOKS: I occasionally get wholesale returns on books that have been damaged or found to have defects. Usually the damage is pretty minor and the bindings are intact. (I am pretty conservative when it comes to assigning the degree of damage.) Books with manufacturing defects are only offered if the defects will not interfere with use. I also sometimes wind up with new books. All such books are on hand in my “warehouse” at my home-office in Oregon.
AUTOGRAPHED BOOKS: I autograph every copy I ship from my home-office. However, most of my inventory is warehoused in Michigan. I am willing to ship new books to my Oregon office to sign them. To do so I will need for you to pay for shipping to me, then I will pay for shipping to you. Please note that, although I am happy to sign every book I ship myself, I do not write personalized notes to people unless I know them personally.

See something you want? Damaged books cannot be ordered directly through the shopping cart. Although I do my best to keep this table up-to-date, I will need to confirm availability. Contact me using the chat link in the lower right-hand corner of this page or email me at [email protected] and we'll go from there. If you want to try to do this with one email, please include ALL of the following information:
1. The titles of the imperfect copies you want. (Refer to the table for current availability)
2. The DEGREE OF DAMAGE for each title that you are willing to accept.
NOTE: If I think you need to hear more about the condition of a moderately or severely damaged copy, I will get in touch before I
invoice you. Discounts on severely damaged books are negotiable. If you are not picky about the degree of damage, just say so in
your email.
3. Your full mailing address for postal delivery within the US.
4. Your best email address
5. The best phone number where you can be reached by voice or text.
6. Standard shipping is free to any US address. I use media mail via the USPS for anything shipped from Oregon. Let me know if you
need faster shipping (which will cost you whatever it costs me, rounded off). The most cost-effective option for faster shipping is
priority mail. International shipping directly from me is not available. Please first read international shipping for information on

7. If you also need titles that are not available in a damaged condition, you can add those to your order. I will invoice everything
together. In most cases, undamaged books will be shipped separately from the warehouse in Michigan.
8. Specify whether you want me to send you a PayPal or a SQUARE (credit card) invoice.
If everything is in order, I will send you an invoice. Once that is paid, I will begin processing your order. Once it is shipped, I will send you a receipt and the tracking number(s).
If I have questions, I may need to speak with you. At that time, I can take your payment over the phone or send you an invoice, whichever you prefer.
