More about the separate order policy for electronic items
You may be thinking "seriously, I have to place TWO orders?" Believe me I was shocked to learn this too, but I had already committed to a 2 year subscription when I did. At any rate, Weebly, my web platform, has much to recommend it. They started as a information-only platform and later expanded to include e-commerce (which is why for some time I had two websites).
When they expanded into e-commerce, they also started out offering e-products and physical products in the same order but they ran into a boatload of problems with downloads, so, for now, the two types of products are separated out while they figure out how to fix the problems. I am confident they will do so and that this is a temporary inconvenience. As it stands, my experiments with the customer experience of receiving downloads has been quite simple and straightforward, so at least that!! In the meantime, the best way to order both physical and electronic products is to create a customer account. This will reduce the entries you need to make twice to a minimum.
